World Tribe ~ People Tobelo peninsula dwell in the northern part of the island of Halmahera and in most mainland island of Morotai. Some of them live spread to the interior of Halmahera, such as the Patani region, Vedas and Gane. There is also to be close to the Raja Ampat Islands in Papua. Their home regions included in the region Galela District in North Maluku district, Maluku province. Its population is approximately 20,000 people.

Language Tribe Tobelo
In ancient times people Tobelo famous as sailors brave and tenacious. Tobelo language does not belong to the Austronesian language group, but closer to the group of Papuan language. Tobelo language adjacent tribes once with language Galela and tobaru.
