World Tribe ~ Tribe Tomini nation is divided into several sub-tribes, namely the Moutong, Dondo, Boano, Umalasa, Balaesang, Tinombo, Patapa, Dampelas, Kasimbar and Toli-Toli.

Tomini tribes generally dwell in the District of Moutong, Tomini and Ampibabo in Donggala, Central Sulawesi province. Its population is estimated at around 75,000 people. Tomini language still allied with Kaili language.

Staple foods they initially are sago, then they began farming in the fields growing rice and corn. The irrigation system came to prominence in the 1900s. Commodity plants developed, copra, cloves and coffee. Gathering of forest products and hunting still do most of the group as a livelihood.

System relationships are bilateral relations and the principle of a line of descent that ambilineal.
In ancient times may occur social stratification rather sharply due to the influence of the system of government small kingdoms. Now the old social stratification was virtually gone.
Religion and Belief Tribe Tomini

Tomini community has embraced Islam, but certain ceremonies were based on genuine trust they still often done by most people.
