Lombok is a province of Indonesia. As the name implies, covers the western provinces Islands Nusa Tenggara. The two largest islands in the province are located in the western Lombok and Sumbawa are located in the east. The capital of the province is located in Mataram city Lombok Island.

Most of the population are from ethnic Sasak Lombok, Sumbawa and Bima while tribes are the largest ethnic group on the island of Sumbawa.
